Hubert B. Humphrey Fund Scholarship
The Hubert B. Humphrey Scholarship program was established in 1988 as one of the first grant awards by the NCBF Endowment. Through this program, the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division makes annual scholarship awards to children or slain or permanently disabled North Carolina law enforcement personnel. This includes local police, sheriffs’ departments, highway patrol and other uniformed personnel. The scholarships are need-based and may cover room and board, tuition or books at colleges and technical schools.
