- NC Disaster Case Management
- Under the NC Department of Public Safety, NC-DCM is available to guide survivors through the recovery process by making a recovery plan that fits their individual needs, helping find available resources, and work through challenges caused by the storm. Link to application.

- Behavioral and Mental Health resources, housing programs and initiatives, Medicaid questions.
- Samaritan’s Purse
- Building and repairing houses as well as replacing mobile homes, Priority given to homeowners with no insurance or who are underinsured. Applicants must also fall between minimum and maximum income levels. Telephone: 828-588-4663.

- Duke Energy Share the Light Fund: To receive financial assistance, you must be a Duke Energy Progress residential customer and have a past due balance, unpaid deposit for utility service or unpaid reconnection charge. Call 800-662-7020 to give or get help.

- Multi-Agency Resource Centers
- FEMA disaster recovery centers (DRC’s) in WNC are now locally operated resource centers. The centers operate Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, except the Yancey County center is open on weekdays from 10am – 6pm.
