From Billboards in 2008 to a Virtual Call Center in 2021, 4ALL Founders’ Vision Remains

On March 5, 358 attorneys and 79 paralegal and law student volunteers came together to provide free legal information to 9,712 callers during the 14th Annual 4ALL Statewide Service Day.

This year’s 4ALL event was held virtually: volunteers participated from the comfort and safety of their own homes or offices. The call-in service was coordinated through an online VoIP service called Telzio. TV station partners in Asheville (WLOS), Charlotte (WBTV), Greensboro (WFMY), Greenville (WNCT-TV), Raleigh (WRAL) and Wilmington (WECT-TV) broadcast local call-in numbers for any NC resident to call and speak to a lawyer for free.

Thank you to the volunteer members of the North Carolina Bar Foundation 4ALL Committee who helped make this year’s program possible.

The 4ALL Statewide Service Day exemplifies the mission of the NCBF to unite the talent and generosity of our profession to be a power of greater good for the people of North Carolina. 4ALL, like all NCBF pro bono and civic education programs, is made possible by gifts of support to the NCBF Annual Fund.

Please donate today in support of the NCBF’s programs and to help increase access to justice statewide.
