NCBF Endowment Begins New Bar Year with Grant Awards
The North Carolina Bar Foundation Endowment makes grants available to North Carolina organizations that are engaged in programming or projects that advance the Foundation’s values of access to justice, volunteer service, civic education and professionalism.
On July 1, 2021, the Endowment awarded $467,512 in grant funds to 37 grantees and programs across the state, including four programs never previously funded by the NCBF Endowment. Access a complete list of 2021-22 NCBF Endowment Grantees.
The 2020-21 grant cycle concluded on June 30, 2021, and despite the many challenges faced throughout the year, grantees have reported that 26,807 clients from across North Carolina were served by programs funded by the NCBF Endowment while 539 volunteers gave their time and talents to help make this possible.
The Endowment was generously established by donors committed to advancing service through the profession and it continues to grow through the generosity of lawyers, their firms and families who establish Named Endowment Funds.
